4th of July

On the 4th we went up to Jordanelle with some friends and rented jet skis. It was a little cloudy, but it didn't ruin our day of fun. We had a blast riding the jet skis, tubing and kayaking. The kids had so much fun..they all love the water!

The kids spent most of the time playing in the tube together. Avery loved wearing that cowboy hat..she is one cute little cowgirl!

Avery found a little friend to play with at the lake. They were so cute together! They would sit in the water just chatting away and laughing. They would hold hands and dance around like little princesses. What a fun day we had I think this should be a yearly tradition.

Daybreak lake

This is my new favorite place! Avery loves the water and this was no exception...she was in heaven. She had so much fun playing in the sand and chasing the ducks. She was jumping right in with her clothes and loving every second.

She found her swimsuit in my bag and begged to put it on. She was diving in and dancing in the water. She could of stayed there forever. We had such a blast and can't wait to go back.

Love all around

We love when Evie and Stratton come over to play. We had a fun afternoon on the slip n slide and running through the sprinklers. We finished off with eating creamies..Avery's new addiction she could eat these all day! Did I mention I love summer??Its going by way too fast.

Cousin weekend

A few weeks ago Austin and Ashlyn came to visit for the weekend. We always have a blast when they come over. They have wanted to go to Lagoon with us, but it makes it a little hard to go on the big rides when we have Avery. My friend Denise got to know my nieces and nephews a little too well that weekend. On friday she went to Lagoon with Ashlyn, Austin, Andrew and Stratton while I had to stay back to work. Brett went for a little bit with Avery on the kiddy rides. Denise was so sweet she hung out with them all day and was their little mom for the day.

Brett and I didn't want to miss out on the fun, so we met up with them when I got off work. Our cute little neighbor Nicci came and babysat for us. It was the first time I have got a babysitter for her, and I am not going to lie I was a nervous wreck. Avery loved having Nicci over and she didn't seem sad at all that we were leaving her. Nicci said she did great(for the hour and half that she was awake) the rest of the time Avery was peacefully sleeping...what an easy babysitting job huh?? We had so much fun at Lagoon minus having to ride the mouse like 3 times! That is the only big ride Austin will ride. I think its the worst ride, but he loves it. We did convince him at the very end to ride the spider, and surprisingly he loved it. My favorite ride is still the wicked and for the first time I kept my eyes open the whole ride. We stayed til it closed, and everyone was pooped..but it was all worth it. We all crashed when we got home and we all slept in til 930 the next morning.

Avery was so excited to wake up to her cousins. She gets the biggest smile when they are around, and most of all they adore her. That afternoon we took the kids to burger king for lunch to let Avery play. Stratton and Austin had just as much fun in the indoor playground as Avery. Avery made a little friend, and they even posed for some pictures. After lunch we went home so Avery could take a nap, and we all watched "Never say never/justin bieber move. We ended the night with shopping at the Gateway and ice cream. Thanks guys for coming we had a blast!!

Play date w/ Jennah

On June 28th Jennah came over to play while Jenn and Brandon went to Lagoon. We don't get to see her that much, so we were so excited to have her over. She was all smiles and gives the cheesiest smile whenever you bring out the camera..its so cute! Avery thinks she is a baby when Jennah is around she wants to sit in her bumbo, wear a bib and talk like a baby. They had so much fun playing toys downstairs and most of all eating creamies..Yum!!

Right before nap time Avery sang Jennah songs and gave each other kisses. They ended the day with a nap. We loved having her over and it wasn't long enough!! We hope she will come over again soon.(hint..hint..)

Slip n' slide

I am so far behind on blogging, but I have to start somewhere. A few weeks ago we went to see Conner and Gavin at their house. After Avery's nap it so hot we decided to get out the slip n slide! We weren't planning on swimming so I didn't bring Avery's swimsuit, so we got some of Gavin's old shorts. She looked so cute in her surfer girl swim suit!! She did not care what she was wearing she was just excited to playing in the water.

Conner was so cute with her trying to teach her how to run and slide. She couldn't do it on her own, but she had fun just running and jumping in the pool at the end. Conner loved spraying the kids with the water and they liked it too, but he got a little crazy at moments.

They loved jumping on the tramp with the water. They were having a ball!! Gavin and Conner were so cute with Avery and she just adores them. We stayed all day and boy did we wear out those kids. Thanks for a fun day..can't wait til next time.
