Hiking

A few days ago we decided to get out and enjoy the outdoors. We went to a hike up by the Draper temple. The last time we took Avery hiking she was in a hiking backpack, so I wasn't sure how she would like walking. She loved exploring and her walking stick that daddy found for her. She especially loved little hill that she could run up and down on.

It was nice because lots of the hike was shaded. We want to go back and maybe even explore new hikes. We had to do a little photo shoot with daddy. They were being so cute together..she sure loves her dad.

I haven't taken any pictures of me pregnant, so here is some for those that have been asking.

St. George

We decided to take a little trip to St. George over memorial weekend. We left Friday night to make the trek. Avery did so good  this time..getting older does have its benefits. We got to his grandparents about 10 we were all the so tired, but stayed up for a little bit catching up with Grandma and Grandpa.

The next day was a gloomy day...windy and not too warm, so that ruined our plans for being outside. Avery didn't sleep too well the night before, so we made sure she got a nap. While she was napping I went to get a pedicure..it was amazing and nice to have some alone time.

After I got home we decided to take Avery to the new indoor pool in Washington city. Right when we walked in I saw my cousin Tyler and then just a few minutes after that his whole family came flooding in. I knew they were staying in Hurricane, but I never thought we would run into them. It was so fun to catch up with everyone.

Avery had a blast swimming with her daddy. She was everywhere and loved the blue slide. Grandma, Grandpa and I watched on the side lines. It was such a fun pool, so much to do..Avery was in heaven. After swimming for a few hours we headed back to their house for hamburgers.

She is getting so good and plugging her nose and dunking her head in the water. Daddy is such a good little swimming teacher!

My aunt and uncle invited us to the place they were staying in for dinner. It was such an amazing place..40 acres and right in the middle the most beautiful house. Avery was in heaven with all the kids to play with. She loved riding scooters with the big girls. It was so nice to let them ride forever without worrying about busy roads. The adults played a soccer game and my hubby who doesn't play much did amazing. We had so much fun catching up with them they are such a fun family. I am so glad we ran into them.

Yeah for Monday it was finally nice enough to be outside! We started the day off at the splash park. It is the best splash park we have been to by far. It has the fountains, but the best part is the river surrounded by red rock. Avery loved going back and forth to both. The boys left to get some golfing in, so Grandma and I  stayed and watched Avery play to her hearts content. They also have a carousel, so I took Avery there for a couple of rides..she loved it.

After spending awhile there we headed off to get some lunch. We went back to Grandma's and Avery and I spent the rest of the afternoon at the pool. I didn't get any pictures of that, but she loved it! It was so nice to spend the day in the water and get some sunshine. We left to head home around 4. We had such a great weekend and its always nice to see his grandparents.

Jordanelle

Ben and Gaby invited us up to Jordanelle with his family & friends. We didn't camp overnight we just went up Saturday for the day. The weather was perfect, but the water was freezing! So instead of swimming Liam and Avery had fun riding in the boat.

Avery's favorite part of the day was riding bikes. They rode back and forth for hours..She is such a pro at her big big..it only took  her a year to learn how to ride it! We ended the night with delicious navajo tacos and chatting around the campfire. We always love hanging out with his family.

The longest phase!

This is the phase that will never end! She still  changes 20 times a day..I wish I  had more pictures of her outfits because most of them are crazy. She thinks she matches, but she is so beyond that. It takes a lot of convincing to have her change if we go  out in public. Lets hope this phase will end soon cuz mommy is tired of picking up her clothes a million times a day!
