Finally we are back!

So my camera stopped working a few weeks ago, so I have been going crazy without one. Thanks to my sister in law she let me have their old one. So I am back to blogging again and being able to take pictures of Avery again. She is growing up so fast the last couple of weeks she just looks like a little girl now. She is standing up all the time, and every time I try to get a picture she sits down or falls. Today she took one little step, so I think soon she will be walking. The last couple of days she has been a little clingy to me which is so not like her. She also has been getting a little attitude I keep saying where did my sweet Avery go. Don't get me wrong she is still sweet as ever, but she is starting to get a little attitude. She loves our phones and the remote and when we take them from her she has a meltdown. We hope this ends soon, but from watching other peoples kids I guess this is the beginning. We are so excited for Monday because our birth mom is coming to visit for a week. It will be so fun for her to see Avery's cute little personality in person. Avery will be one next month and I can't believe where the time has gone. Here are a few cute pictures of her lately.

Look at that face how can you resist that.

She just looks so big in her chair now!

She still loves those fingers. That doll and her fingers make everything better.

This is my favorite picture ever! She loves looking out the back window at Annie.

On the 24th we were suppose to go with Brett's family, but Brett ended up sick in bed. So on Saturday he was feeling a lot better, so we headed up to Ogden for some family fun. We went to the Ogden parkway. Its a paved path that goes along the river its so beautiful. Avery loved wadding her feet in the water and not being stuck in the stroller. Annie also joined the fun and got her energy out from sitting around the house. It was such a nice day, and I was so excited to get out of the house. I hope we can get back there soon.

11 months!

I can't believe my little girl is 11 months. She is just growing so fast and is learning so much.

1-She is now standing on her own.

2-Claps her hands

3-She is obsessed with balls. She loves rolling them around the house and throwing them.

4-Loves to stand up on the sliding door, and banging her hands on the glass. Its so cute she just giggles the whole time.

5-She is crawling up the stairs a million times a day.

6-Loves playing on our bed, and especially when daddy throws her into the pillows.

7-She has always loved music. Lately she gets so giddy when she sees the lagoon ad on tv-so funny!

8- She bounces on her bum trying to get herself to stand up. She is a jumpy little girl!

9-She now is eating more adult foods and loves it. She loves all fruit, pasta, potatoes & loves her sippy cup with apple juice.

10-She loves being outside and crawling around on the grass.

11- Most of all she is still the happiest baby in the world. She is always smiling and laughing. I hope her little cute personality never leaves. She just makes friends everywhere and brightens your day. She has such a sweet spirit and bings so much happiness to our home. I can't believe she will be a year old next month, but we are so excited!

St. George cont..

So it was the end of the reunion. We did plan on going to Zions, but it was too hot and we didn't have a baby carrier maybe next time. Before everyone headed off we had to go eat at in-n-out burger. It was such a fun reunion and its always sad when it is over. Avery was so good the whole time and slept like a champ. After we ate everyone headed home, but Brett & I stayed one more night with his grandma and grandpa.

It was so fun for grandma and grandpa Muir to spend time with Avery. They have only seen her once when we got sealed. They were so taken by her and just loved her bubbly personality. Avery was so cute at their house just giggling and jabbering like crazy. She loved their little dog Abby which is just Avery's size. Grandpa would get down with Avery and play with her, and Grandma would hold her and read books-so sweet! Brett and Grandpa were able to go golfing both days while Grandma & I were able to chat and catch up. We also couldn't leave without playing mexican train and having grandma's famous hot fudge-so yummy!!! We had such a great vacation and Avery was such an angel. We hope to get back to St. George soon.

Sand Hollow

Ashlyn, Austin & Brett showing off their muscles.

Brett taking Avery for a ride

Austin was so cute with Avery at the lake. He wanted to be around her constantly and loved making her laugh.

Mitch sunbathing

Once again Austin wanted to hold her and he did a great job!

Avery loved playing in the sand. She mostly wanted to eat it, but that's not knew for her everything goes in the mouth.

Brett gave Avery her cute hairdo for the day.

We headed to the lake on Monday to cool down a little from the hot sun. It didn't really work because it was still so hot in the water. We only stayed a couple of hours, but we still had fun. Brett, Mitch and Anne were our entertainment at the lake. First off Brett and Mitch were having a model season with sand all over it was so hilarious. They also got into a sand fight with Anne. Those 3 together are so funny and always making us laugh. Brett, Mitch and Jason decided to go jump off the rocks that were 30 feet high into the water. All of us girls are not so daring , so we all headed back to the condos. That night we went to Tuchann to see the production Annie. It was such a great play. I love that place they always put on such great plays. Such a fun day with the Harris clan.

Harris Family Reunion

Saturday night we started our annual Harris family reunion in St. George. We could check in at the condos at 4, but we didn't make it til 8. Its a little different driving with a baby stopping alot to let her stretch and at the same time she wasn't feeling to well, so a long drive for us. We enjoyed the rest of the night having dinner and just hanging out.
The next day was Sunday and in the morning we headed to Snow canyon for a little hike. It was such a pretty hike, but so, so hot! After being in the hot sun we headed back to the condo to do a little swimming. I stayed back in with Avery while she took a nap, but Brett had fun with the kids. It was such a nice day to relax to do whatever. Lila and Avery had fun playing together. They both had necklaces on and Avery loved it, but all she wanted to do was steal Lila's. I kept trying to show her that she had her own, but she didn't seem to care. Such cute little cousins, and I can't wait til Avery can walk and they can run and play together.

Sunday night we had the talent show. Its always my favorite part of the reunion to see what everyone comes up with. Afton and Jason did a music number. Troy played his guitar while singing. Jenny & Sratton did head, shoulder, knees and toes in english and spanish. Austin drew some pictures. Ashlyn showed off her jump roping skills. My parent's did the best talent of them all they got us all laughing so hard!! Brett & I don't have any talents, but Brett did make a video of a tribute to Micheal Jackson. It was such a fun night with plenty of laughs.
