Wheeler Farm

Last week Avery and I had a fun day at Wheeler farm. Her favorite was the pigs. She thought they were so funny and she couldn't stop laughing. She also loved the turkeys and she kept putting her fingers in the cage and they almost bit her fingers..she learned pretty fast. She has kept asking to go again maybe we will make it back before the weather gets cold.

Cleaning

This is the outfit that Avery came up with. She had her ballerina outfit then her dress, tights and shoes. She loves dressing herself . She loves helping me clean and I love the help. What a cute little girl that I have.

Avery the ballerina

So Avery has her stay at home clothes, and her go bye bye clothes. That is how I have to explain it to her, so we don't have anymore tantrums! She has been into wearing princess dresses or any dress for that matter for a long time. She would wear them everywhere we went if I let her. So I finally had to set a rule that a 3 year old would understand. She is doing better at changing her clothes when we have to leave without getting so upset.

A few weeks ago her Grandma gave her this little dance outfit. Lindsey wore this when she was little. Avery has been obsessed with this outfit, and loves to wear it even when she is napping. She has to wear the ballerina or tap shoes to make the outfit complete.

After her nap with bed head and all. Doesn't she look adorable!

She loves tapping in the kitchen and the cool sound that it makes. I can't wait to put her in dance she will love it.

Avery also has to have her hair done. Lately she has to have 2 ponytails and shoes on to complete the outfit. Pretty much while we are home she is in one of her play dresses. She changes about 5 times a day. Her new obsession the last couple of days is to wear one of her swimsuits underneath. She is one funny little girl.

As a side note we went to her 3 year old well check and she is one healthy little girl. She is one petite girl weighing in at 26 lbs. She is at the 10th percent for her age. We love her small and all. Love you Avery girl.

Last days of sunshine!

We have been spending lots of days at the park. We have this great park by our house and we have been loving it. We have had play dates with her friend Kaden, and on Thursdays Evie comes along too. Even if she doesn't have friends she makes one. She never plays alone at the park and she loves all the new friends she makes.

We don't know how much longer we will have sunshine, so we are taking every opportunity to enjoy being outside. Its so fun to see everyone interact with other kids and be the little social butterfly that she is. Its so cute to hear their little conversations to eachother..I just sit back and laugh.

It's so hard trying to get them to both look at the camera, but at least I tried. They are such cute little cousins. Avery and Evie call eachother sister...so cute! I hope the warm days aren't done anytime soon.

Sundance

The last weekend of August we went up to Sundance with our friends. We all got sitters for our kids and went up to Kendra's cabin in Sundance. It was an amazing cabin, and the views were out of this world! We stayed up til 4 in the morning playing games, and most of all laughing our heads off. It was such a fun night, but we felt it the next day..so tired, but so worth it.

Sunday morning we went to Sunday brunch. It was amazing food and we all stuffed ourselves to the max!!

That afternoon we took a hike up to the waterfalls. It was so beautiful!! The scenery was amazing!!

Kendal and Brett were adventurous enough to go down to the waterfalls. They were the only brave ones.

One amazing weekend. Good friends, and being with my hubby nothing better!!

Temple square

A couple of weekends ago we went out for a family night to downtown. We first stopped at the gateway for dinner, and then we were off to Temple square. Avery loves temples, so we thought it would be fun for her to see it up close. She was in total amazement and couldn't stop talking about how pretty it was. She wanted us to keep singing I love to see the temple. We had so much fun walking around the grounds taking pictures.

Their was a bride getting her pictures done. Avery kept asking us if she could go talk to her, and touch her dress. Brett didn't want her to go bug the bride, but I totally should of let her. I love being on the temple grounds its so peaceful. We ended the night at the blue lemon for some yummy dessert.

Walking Annie

The other night we took Annie for a walk. Avery loves taking her for walks, but Annie is a little too strong for Avery. I wish I had a video camera on our walk cuz its so funny to watch Avery being pulled by Annie. Avery pretty much has to run to keep up with her. On our way back from our walk our neighbor had his sprinklers on, and Avery jumped right in. Who needs a water park when you can just get wet at the neighbors. Avery was soaked and loved every minute.

Summer full of swimming

We were little fish this summer. Once a week we would meet our friends for an afternoon of swimming. We spent the days at the bountiful pool..our new favorite place to swim. The outdoor pool is so nice because it only goes to 3ft & its pretty small, so you can keep track of the kids better. We could just lounge by the pool while the kids played it was great! Avery loved playing with her friends, and always found new friends(usually adults) they were so cute to play with her. I am so sad that our swimming days are over! Summer went way too fast.

Avery's birthday bash!

On August 13th we celebrated Avery's 3rd birthday. I can't believe my baby is 3! but I am loving this stage its so much fun.

It's so fun to have Avery's birthday in the summer because that means we can be outside! We invited both sides of the family& friends to her birthday this year. We had the birthday bash in Brett's parents backyard. They have tons of yard and so it was perfect for what I had planned. We started off with slip n slides. The kids had a blast and big kids would get going down so fast down the hill! Brett even showed of his slip n slide skills.

The kids couldn't get enough they used on and off all night.

I got Avery dressed up in her birthday costume. She was a little butterfly, and she loved showing it off to everyone. The kids loved playing duck duck goose and most of all chasing eachother around the yard.

My family had so much fun with these at the reunion, so I brought them again. These were the hit of the party at least with the older group!

All day Avery wanted her butterfly cake, so when I brought it out she was ecstatic! She loved everyone singing happy birthday and having the center of attention. She blew out the candles and even clapped for herself. She was one happy girl!!

She got so spoiled from everyone. She got purses, pajamas, books, vtech laptop, bike, and the one she was most excited about 2 new play dresses. Everyone knows what the birthday girl loves the most. She had one magical 3rd birthday..Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate this special day with us.

Our little dancer

Dance..

Dance in circles

Dance some more..

Dance until your drop!

Avery loves to dance! Her favorite song is "rolling in the deep by Adell. Everytime it comes on the radio she says mom turn it up. She especially likes to dance to this song and has some impressive moves. She is a natural little dancer!
