Say Cheese!!!

Avery makes us laugh everyday! Her new thing is to give the biggest cheesiest smile when we take a picture. It just makes me laugh every time. So now all we have to say is cheese and out comes the big grin. What a funny little munchkin we have!!

Avery loves to play with my mixing bowls. Daddy got the idea to have her sit in them and boy did she have a blast. She was giggling and having the time of her life. I think we sat and played that for a good hour. I love these simple moments that we get to share together. She is one easy girl to entertain!

Jabber girl!

Avery is obsessed with phones, but not a play phone it has to be the real thing. She carries it on her shoulder and jabbers. It is the cutest thing ever!!!!!

I love when she wants to cuddle with her momma! I always have to take advantage of taking a picture because this usually doesn't last long. She soon runs off to do play. She is so hard to get pictures of lately, so I treasure the ones I can get. Love my baby girl!!

Girls night out!!

On Friday night us girls went out to dinner. It was so nice to be able to sit and chat and catch up. Love our kids, but it was nice to not be interrupted and just relax. Best of all we had tons of laughs, and nothing is better than that. I am so grateful to have the greatest friends. They are such amazing woman and mothers, and they make me want to be a better person. We stayed til 11 pm and we could of hung out all night, so much to talk about. We all have the greatest husbands who were willing to stay home and watch the kids!! Good friends and good food what could be better than that! Thanks again girls I can't wait til next time.

Grandpa Buswell

My dear Grandpa passed away December 7, 2009. He was 88 and left an amazing legacy behind. My Grandpa was an amazing man and accomplished so many things in his life. He has made me want to be a better person and helped me see that anything is possible, if you just put your mind to it. We had his funeral on December 14, 2009 and it was such a special tribute to him. I miss him so much, but I am know he is happy, and most of all free of pain. My dear sweet Grandma is now without her sweetheart, but they had a wonderful life together. I was so fortunate to be able to spend alot of time in the last couple of years with my grandparents. When I lived in Ogden I only lived 10 minutes from them, and that was so nice to be able to take advantage of spending time in their home. The last month of my Grandpas life I was going over there twice a week to help take care of him. It was so hard to see him struggle and be in so much pain, but it was such an amazing experience as well. My Grandpa is someone I strive to be! I love you Grandpa!

Avery & birthday fun!

Today is my moms birthday, and we were able to have a girls lunch at Olive Garden. It was such a good time. We had good food and lots of laughs what could be better than that. I am so grateful to have the most amazing mom. She has always been there for me whenever I need her, and I say thats pretty amazing since she has 6 other kids. Happy Birthday Mom we love you!!

Here is Avery getting her exercise in for the day! While watching her movie she had to get all her stretching in. She is one funny girl and she is loving her chair!!

7 years!

Brett and I celebrated 7 years of marriage yesterday. I can't believe its been that long. It seems like it was yesterday!!! I am so lucky to have him as my husband and to share my life with my best friend. We have had a great 7 years, and I am so excited to see whats in store for the next 7 years. As I reflect back on the past 7 years we have shared alot together. We have cried, laughed and have had our ups and downs, but it has made us a stronger couple. We have grown up so much and more than ever realized what we want out of life, and where we want to be in the future. Having Avery in our lives has been a huge blessing, and has brought a new light in our marriage and its amazing. We have put all our love and time into Avery and I think we forget about taking care of eachother. That is something we need to work on and try to make more quality time for our marriage. Last night my mom watched Avery while we went to dinner and a movie. It was so nice to spend time together and just talk! We definitely need to do more date nights. I am the luckiest girl to have such an amazing husband. Happy Anniversary hubby!!! I love you so much!!

Playing in the snow!

I took Avery out yesterday to play in the snow. It was her first time this year to go enjoy the snow. The first thing she did was plop right down by the steps and started eating the snow. She couldn't get enough and she loved sharing with Annie. It was a little hard for her to move around since she was bundled up like a marsh mellow. She had so much fun playing with Annie and looking at the our neighbors dogs through the fence.
