Play time with daddy

Avery loves when daddy comes home from work because it means play time. She is now say da, da all day long. She might not know she is saying it, but I know she loves her daddy. After play time she gives hugs and snuggles we love it. We know it won't last long, so we will take all the hugs we can get.

Last sunday I decided to paint Avery's toenails. She loved it and even held still and that's amazing at her age. I just love her chubby little feet..so cute!

Swimming

Last night we took Avery swimming for her first time. Our friend Kendal joined us along with his two kids Kristin and Kaden. Also joining us was Greg, Cheryl, cousin Boston and Randy. We went the lions club recreation center in Holladay. It was such a fun place and all the kids enjoyed it. Avery wasn't sure about the swimming thing at first, but after a few minutes she was our little swimming fish. She loved splashing and swimming on her tummy. After swimming Debbie met up with us, and we all went to dinner. It was such a fun night and I think we will have to go swimming alot this summer.

Our past week

Well since Avery has got the crawling thing down she has now found she loves standing up. She pulls her self up on the furniture a million times a day. She uses her teeth to pull her self up, and then she just giggles and gives the biggest smile. I think she thinks she is such a big girl, and is so proud of herself. I can't believe how fast she is growing, but I love this age its so much fun. Brett thinks Avery is going to be walking early, so we will have to wait and see.

On Monday while the boys went golfing, and Kendra was at work I had the privledge to watch Kaden and Kristin. Avery loved Kaden she wanted to grab him and was a little overbearing to Kaden at first, but I think he got use to it after awhile. They are only 2 months apart, so I can't wait til they can play together and be the best little buddies. After Kendra got home we went to the gateway to hang out while the boys where still golfing. We met up with my sister in law Jen and ate at Costa Vida and did a little shopping. Thanks girls for a great night we need to do it again soon.

I just can't enough pictures of my sweet little girl. She is so fun to take pictures of because she is always posing for the camera. She started crawling a couple of weeks ago, but now its not enough. She is now pulling her self up on to whatever she can, and can hold herself up pretty good. She is such a strong little girl and is very determined to accomplish what she started. She is loving her new world and exploring the house.

After her bath Brett always likes to do a new crazy hairdo! This week it was a mohawk.

Her new favorite play time is when her daddy pulls her around the house in the laundry basket. She just giggles and wants him to keep going til he is worn out. She especially loves when he throws her in the air and tickles her.

Easter

Avery had a great first Easter. When I gave her the Easter basket she just wanted pull everything out and chew it. She got her own set of play keys, bath toys, Easter book, Easter bunny, and new summer clothes. She had tons of fun with all her new stuff.

After we had our own little Easter at home we headed off to grandpa and grandma Muirs. We first had a yummy dinner then off to the annual Easter egg hunt. Avery got her own little goody bag with a doll, cute little skirt, and shirt. Avery wasn't into finding Easter eggs, but at least all of us can be kids again! When Avery sees Boston she just gets all giggly and wants to just grab his face. They play so cute together!!!

America's next top model here I come! but no skimpy clothes please. Avery appears to be a natural model, we laughed when took this classical pose! She looks like she was ready to show us her moves and cute smile.

Today Avery turned 8 months. She is now crawling and is a busy girl! She loves her new independence, and will roam the house making many messes on the way. She is growing so fast, and if you can believe it she gets cuter and more fun. We love you Avery, and hope you had a great Easter.
