Best purchase ever!

Avery's Halloween costume has to be the best purchase I ever made. After her nap she always wants to put one of her dresses on. That day she wanted to wear her strawberry one and even the tights and hat. I never get sick of seeing her in it because it's just so adorable on her. This girl loves to play dress up, and it just makes having a girl that much more fun. I was getting the vacuum out and she wanted to help me clean. She got one of the attachments out and was cleaning the windows, couch and whatever else she could find. She always wants to help me clean and I guess I will take it while I can. Love watching my little strawberry clean!!

This is my mom's old dining room table that is in the living room until we get rid of it. I always forget about it..so if you know anyone that wants or needs a table send them my way. Avery loves jumping from the table to the couch. Maybe not the safest..but don't worry I am right there watching her. I love my little strawberry and I never get sick of seeing her in it. I don't know how I am going to top next years Halloween costume. This one just fits Avery perfectly.

Swimming

Last week we went swimming with Jennah, GK & Bentley. We met at the Fairmont aquatic center in Salt lake. Avery is always hesitant at first about swimming, but within 5 minutes she all ready to swim. The best part was the that the water was so warm, and hardly anyone was there. She made friends like always and had to say hi to everyone. She got to try out her new swimsuit and loved doing turls in the pool.

Avery and GK had so much fun together. They would climb up on the edge and then jump in. They were our entertainment for the rest of the time. These 2 are only a month apart and have alot of the same personality. They both are full of energy and have attitude at the same time. The pool closed at 1130, so we left and went to lunch at noodles. It was such a fun afternoon, and wore Avery out. She fell asleep in the car which is very rare for her. I am going to make swimming a weekly activity..so much fun!

Valentine's surprise

Monday afternoon the doorbell rang. Avery always get so excited when someone is at the door. When she opened the door there was a little surprise waiting...it was a gift from Grandma Muir. Right when she opened she jumped up and down in excitement...she said pink dress. And immediately wanted me to put it on. Grandma sure knows what she loves!!

She was so excited she was running around the house. She was laughing and having the time of her life. I love to see her so happy!! Later I called Debbie to say thanks for the dress. She corrected me that it was a swimsuit..my bad. Swimsuit or dress she loves it.

Lila turns 3!

My niece Lila turned 3 last week. I can't believe it because that means my baby will be turning 3 in 6 months!! They had her party at the Murray pool, but we didn't get to swim since we got there a little late. Avery had fun watching everyone through the glass window. She was so sad that she wasn't in there enjoying the fun, but Lola was kind enough to distract her.

After swimming we went and started the party off with a little pizza. Avery always gets so excited to see her cousins.

Lila was being so cute! she loved her ladybug cake and the biggest grin on her face! She is such a sweetheart and she just makes you smile. We love you Lila..Happy Birthday!

Super bowl 2011

Once again it was time for our annual Super bowl party. Every year we get excited for all the yummy food, and of course a good football game. Debbie said for everyone to bring a treat to share..I guess Randy didn't get the memo. He had to bags full of candy and we didn't hardly touch it..we were all stuffed from dinner.

Avery had so much fun playing with her aunts and uncles & cousins. She was jumping around and being a little loud at times..poor Jennah didn't like her screaming too much. Soon Jennah will be running around with them.

We also always look forward to our halftime festivities. This year Randy had a few games planned. The first one was were you had to put an oreo on your forehead, and get it to your mouth as fast you could. It was so funny to watch..Brandon was the champion!!

Learning to ride her bike

With all the bitter cold weather we have had..we took any chance to be outside with the sunshine!! We took Avery out to try her new bike. Learning on the carpet inside wasn't helping we wanted to get her out on the open road. Daddy was teaching her how to pedal and she was doing so good. I didn't realize how hard it is for 2 year old to learn to pedal, but practice makes perfect!

She loved going down the hill, but loved running down it more! The bike lesson didn't last long, but when she gets that pedaling down she will have a blast. I can't wait for summer to go on more bike rides.

Outing with the girls!

A couple of weekends ago my niece Ashlyn came to spend the night. We had such a fun weekend! We started the night off with Cafe rio for dinner..we all stuffed ourselves!! Ashlyn and I went to the store for some treats and a movie. We didn't find a movie, but we just watched one on TV.

The next day Brett had to go to work, so us girls went shopping. I took Ashlyn to this really cool consignment store in Farmington. They even have little girl clothes and I found this dress for Avery for only 5 bucks!! Immediately when she saw it she wanted to put it on, and she looked so dang cute in it. We also got that little hair bow to match. After shopping we went to Warrens for lunch. Avery went down for a nap while Ashlyn and I watched Old dogs. Good movie and lots of laughs. We always love having Ashlyn come over and especially Avery. The rest of the night and the next day Avery kept asking for her..so cute!
