Olivia

Now its Olivia turn!
She is such a content little girl. She hardly cries.
She can just lay on the floor or in her bouncy chair and entertain herself.
She loves her voice. She babbles like crazy. I never get sick of hearing her cute voice.
She is a natural in front of the camera. I get it out and she is already smiling!
She is always smiling and is now laughing..love it!
She adores Avery and lights up when Avery talks to her.
She sleeps 9 hours at night and probably could keep sleeping, but Owen usually wakes her up.
She out eats Owen which is pretty amazing considering her past. She is getting so chunky!
She loves to be held and cuddled
She has lost alot of her hair, but it looks like her pretty red hair is coming back thick.
She is such a joy...I can't get enough of this little girl.

Owen

I am in love with this little boy! I love having a boy..he is such a little cuddle bug.
He has been rolling over for a couple of weeks now
He holds his head up so good..and loves to look around
He is now 15 pounds!! Mr. chubs or chunky monkey is what I call him.
He is such a smiley little guy. One look at him and he gives you the biggest grin.
He has started to laugh..
He jabbers a ton..such a cute little voice
He loves when I play peek a boo with the blanket..his new favorite game.
He loves to be in the baby backpack and walk around with mommy! This little guy loves to be held.
He is still little sleepyhead. It seems like he is only happy after about an hour of eating before he is tired again.
We were having problems with him getting up after 4 to 5 hours to eat. But the other night I let him cry it out, and last night he slept 9 hours straight! We will see what tonight brings!
He loves to eat as you can tell. With being a preemie and all the doctor has both of them on a high calorie formula and it is doing its job. If he was a full term baby he would be in the 50th percentile. But being a preemie he is in the 5th percentile..which is amazing since some preemies don't get on the charts til they are 2! We hope the good eating continues. We get to start rice cereal in a couple of weeks.
This boy loves his sister Avery..He just smiles and laughs her constantly..its the sweetest thing.
He loves being sung to and loves all of Avery and I's dance moves.
We love this boy and love watching him grow and learn new things.

Avery's long hair!

Avery goes through phases. One phase is that she kept asking for long hair. I tried explaining to her that we can't just get long hair it has to grow..boy was she disappointed! So she came up with her own conclusion. She found one of her blankets and headbands..and there you have it she has instant long hair!!
Right when she woke up she asked to wear her hair. She was obsessed with it for a few weeks. She would dance around the house and always ask me if I loved her beautiful hair. She is now past this phase, but still wants her hair every once in awhile. Her new phase is she wants her hair done in a ponytail or bun. She wants her hair done and makeup just like mommy! She also goes through phases about what to wear. For awhile it was dress up princess clothes, old Halloween costumes. Then it went to her finding her own clothes together and boy was that scary..the things she put together were scary!! Now she ants to change into different pajamas every couple of hours. Good thing she has a huge variety of them. I love Avery's spunk and zest for life! She is so fun to be around.

Christmas morning!

Christmas morning finally came! Our kids were sleepy heads that morning, so Brett and I finally had to wake them up at 8:30 we were too excited! Avery was so excited to see what Santa brought her she could barely sit still for me to take a family photo!

Olivia and Owen all ready to see what Santa brought them.

Avery starting tearing into her presents..I tried telling her that it wasn't a race, but she was too excited to see the next present. Every present she would say just what I wanted! She was so giddy and loved every single present. She got candyland, earrings, Cinderella movie

Grandma found matching pjs for the girls. How cute are they?? She loves her little sister!

Avery helped her brother and sister open their presents. Olivia got clothes, bows, toy and Olivia the pig book. Can't wait to read that to her someday.

Owen got clothes, toy, and Mop top book. I can't believe Brett has never read it. Its all about a redhead little boy..so its perfect for my cute little redheads! The babies were so good all morning and so happy to just hangout. Owen was all giggles with his daddy!

Avery was so excited about her snow white ballerina dress up. Of course she had to run and put it on before opening the rest of her presents. Dad gave us a family present. He made a board to measure the kids as they grow..love it! Avery had been asking for a Rapunzel doll forever..Santa knew to save that for last! She kept hugging it and wanted to open it right away.

All the kids presents along with what Grandma & Grandpa Muir gave them. Boy were they spoiled!
We were able to talk to Sam via skpe while we opened her gift to the kids. She gave Owen and Olivia their own stockings and each an ornament. Its a little onsie that says baby's first Christmas. She spoiled Avery with a gift card to build a bear, a dog and cat puppets, Tinkerbell and Rapunzel ornaments, and a purse. She is one lucky girl!
Avery opened the rest of her presents in her princess dress. She also got Pinkalicious book and new hello kitty backpack and makeup.

We feel so blessed this Christmas season to have our babies home. It was a Christmas that we will always cherish. We r such lucky parents to have 3 beautiful kids. Christmas is such a magical time, and having little ones makes the season so special.

Santa came!

Santa came to our house!!

Christmas Eve 2012

This year was Christmas Eve with the Muirs. Since we still can't take the babies out it was my turn to stay home. The babies and I had a quiet time at home! I was so sad to miss it, but so happy that Avery and Brett could go. With my husband in charge of the taking pictures this is all we got..But at least its something right??

Avery was Mary this year in the nativity. Brett said she was so excited about it and got all into her role! She is such a little girl always  wanting to be a little mommy!

 Look at that smile!
Such cute cousins! Boston was Joseph. Brynlee and Emma were shepards, and Jennah was the angel. Owen and Olivia were suppose to baby Jesus..maybe next year! Oh wait they won't be babies next year..how sad!

Avery of course got spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa. She got a camera, a doll bed, new pjs, horse and carriage and a jewelry box.

Can't wait til next year when the twins can celebrate with us!

Having fun in the snow!

On Christmas Eve before the festivities.. Avery had been begging Brett to go sledding. We didn't have any sleds yet..we were waiting to see if Santa would bring one. Daddy always has a solution! He found a slip n slide in the garage..and there you have a sled!!

Brett pulled her up and down the street. She thought it was the greatest! She was laughing the whole time and kept wanting him to go again! He got his workout the day..Daddy always is up for a new adventure..what an amazing dad he is! Afterwards they came in and warmed up with some hot chocolate!
