Brett turned 29 on Friday. I had to work, so he spent his birthday with his dad golfing and just hanging out. And yes it was raining and even snowing, but as you know Brett is a hardcore golfer and nothing will stop him from playing. Brett's parents were so nice to take Avery overnight, so Brett and I could go out. It was so nice to be able to go out and not have to hurry and eat and just enjoy each other. We went to Applebees and then went and saw Alice in wonderland. It was such a fun night, but we missed our little girl.
Saturday is what Brett was really looking forward to all week. Him and his friends went for a day of golf! They played 18 holes and had a blast. It ended up being a nice day and like Brett would say perfect weather for golf. After golf we headed to Brett's parents to get Avery and have a little birthday party. We celebrated Brett's and Lindsey's bdays(Lindsey's isn't til April 7th, but we decided to do hers to since we don't know when we can all together again) Boston and Avery wanted to join the fun. Boston was good at trying to blow out the candles, but Avery on the other hand wanted to put her fingers in it. All and all it was a great weekend, and Brett had a great day. Here is to one more year to the 20's and then off to the dreaded 30's!!!

Happy Birthday to Brett! I'm glad he was able to spend it golfing! P.S. You don't have to dread the 30's, they really are the best years!!
