7 Months

Today Avery turned 7 monnths!

7 things that avery loves:

-Loves baby einstein she lights up when i put it on. She giggles and talks while she watches it-so cute!

-Loves her baby food especially sweet potatoes, bananas, squash and carrots.

-Loves her daddy! she lights up when he comes home.

-Loves her cousins.

-Loves music and when daddy dances with her.

-Loves her baths. As soon as i turn the water on she gets all excited, and almost jumps out of my arms.

-Loves to smile. She will smile at anyone and makes friends wherever we go.

She is always so funny after i give her a bath. She has the craziest hair and brett loves to spike it up and take pictures of her.

Avery puts everything in her mouth including her socks. When i go get her from her naps her socks are off and they are soaking wet. She loves to eat them it cracks us up! When she has a good hold on the sock i try tugging to get it out, but she has such a good hold of it with her teeth!! She giggles so hard when i try getting it out its so cute! It's so funny how she can be easily entertained with a sock who needs toys.

The other day i decided to give her some apple juice. She wasn't quit sure how to work the sippy cup, so she mostly just played with it. She had a little sour face while drinking it - and i even diluted it with water. She didn't drink that much, but i will keep trying and i know soon she will love it.

Court day!

Yesterday March 2nd was a very special day for our family. We went to court to finalize our adoption and all i can say is wow!!!! At first our judge was a little intimidating, but as soon as he saw avery and she starting smiling at him he became such a softy. After we were done with all the paperwork the judge invited us up to take pictures with him. He was so cute with avery he wanted to hold her and just kept saying what a doll she was and what a cute family we are. Brett and i were overjoyed and at the same time so emotional at how lucky we are to have our sweet little avery now officially a muir. She was so cute all morning just so happy and she didn't even get a morning nap. We just want to thank brett's mom and my parents for coming to share this special day with us. I kept telling brett its so weird that we are going to court to make her ours officially because she has always felt apart of us from the beginning. Avery i want you to know what a special day this was and how blessed we are to have you as our daughter.

My dad was playing with her and she could not get enough of him. I was trying to get her to look forward, but she could not get her eye of him.

When we were up getting pictures he also kept saying i am just going to cancel my day, so i can just stay and play with avery

great grandma & grandpa Buswell

Every week i go to my grandparents house to do my grandma's hair. My grandpa has been in poor health lately and so its hard for my grandma to get out to get her hair done. It has been so nice to be able to spend quality time with my grandparents-and for them to see avery. Avery loves them and she gives them tons of smiles, its so cute! It has been so hard to see my grandpa so weak, and in-and-out of the hospital; today he was feeling alot better and able to get around better. I love my grandparents so much they are such great examples and have accomplished so much in their lives. I want avery to know what amazing people they are and how much they love her and are so happy to have her a part of the family.

6 months

Avery turned 6 months yesterday. I can't believe how time has flown. She is now 15 pounds and is 25 inches long. She is now sitting up pretty good by herself and loving every minute of it. She is still so much fun and is always making brett and i laugh. I can't believe it has been six months, and its so crazy to see how much she has grown from when we brought her home. I just look at her everyday and think how blessed i am to have her in my life. The first picture is what we call her modeling pose she lays like this forever and it just cracks me up. She is so spunky already i can only imagine what she will be like when she grows up. Happy 1/2 birthday avery we love you!!!!

Avery is all smiles lately she gives the biggest grin you have ever seen! She loves when i get out the camera because its her time to shine. She is just the happiest baby ever and is always making us laugh. She loves everyone she meets and she greets them with a smile. I can't wait for her little personality to blossom even more. Her smile just makes my day and melts my heart.

5 months!

Last tuesday our little girl turned 5 months. She is such a smiley, energetic, and playful little girl. We just adore her and i just love this age she is at now. She loves her saucer that her grandma gave her for christmas. She loves all her new toys and its nice to have something that can entertain her besides her mommy!

She is now eating rice cereal and is loving it. A girl at brett's work made these bibs for avery and they are great. They cover her whole body which is nice because she gets really messy! I can't believe she is big enough to move on to baby foods.

Avery is getting the cutest personality. She is very vocal and now in church we pretty much have to sit in the foyer. She is such a happy girl and is always smiling, and for those of you that knew her a few months ago that is a big improvement. She loves people and anyone that talks to her she instantly loves and gives them a big smile. Most of all she adores little kids she can sit and watch my neices and nephews for hours and they get her giggling its so cute!

She is now rolling around like crazy. She can roll from one end of the room to the other. She is such a mover and is such a strong little girl. She has also found her feet and she is either eating her toes or trying to take off her socks. She loves to sit up or stand i think she is going to do everything a little early. I love the stage she is at now and i don't want her to grow anymore. She already has grown up so fast and i just want time to slow down, so i can savor all the special moments and memories with our little girl.
