Family day

We started our next family day with lunch with Grandma. We went to Litza's Pizza in Salt Lake I had never been so I was excited to try something new. Avery always gets excited to see Grandma! We had such a great time catching up and stuffing our faces. Avery loved the pizza and especially the garlic bread. Thanks Grandma for lunch!

That night we went swimming. There is a place in Layton called Surf n' Swim and we have been told forever by locals that we need to try it out. In the winter they put a big bubble over it, so you can enjoy it when its freezing outside. The water was so warm which was nice. So its just one big pool, and every 20 minutes the waves come on. Avery wasn't sure about the waves at first, but daddy warmed her up to the idea pretty quick. They were jumping the waves and having a blast. We topped the night off with a shake at Artic Circle. Such a fun pool I can't wait to go back.

Hill Aerospace Museum

Brett had a few days off work, so we took advantage and had some good family time. We started off with going to the Aerospace museum. We have lived here for a few years and have never been, so we thought it was about time. Avery liked seeing the planes at first and then she got a little bored. She loved running around more, and even more running up and down the wooden bridge. She especially loved sitting in the big airplane chair..I just love that picture!!

Avery wasn't really into the history, but Brett and I loved it. It was so neat to see how far technology has come from the first airplane to now. If your ever up this way its a great place to visit. After we went to Cafe Rio and also had a little cupcake at the Sweet tooth fairy. The best cupcakes ever!!

Best of friends

The last couple of weeks we have been going over to play with Kristin and Kaden. Avery and Kristin are so cute together and they are both 100% girl. They love playing dress up and Kendra and I get a kick from watching what they come downstairs wearing. Kristin is so good with her and Avery just adores her. Kaden and Avery on the other hand just give each other attitude, but that's what you get with 2 year olds. Eventually they will be the best of buds. We love going over there and especially to see little baby Kennedy. We can't wait to go again.

Movie date

Posted by PicasaLast week we had a mommy daughter date at the movies. We went and saw Tangled. We went to the first showing of the day, and there was only one other person in the theater. She loved sitting in a big chair all by herself, and she couldn't watch the movie without her blankie. She sat there pretty much the whole movie, but she had to stretch her legs every once in awhile. She loved the movie and watched it the whole time! It was such a cute show we will for sure being buying that movie when it comes out. I love having dates with my girl.

Going Private

I have decided to make my blog private. So please leave me your email address, and I will be happy to add you.

Snow day with daddy!

On President's day Brett and I both had the day off. We started off the day with more fun in the snow.

Daddy is always fun to play with because he always finds crazy things to do. He made a big pile of snow and him and Avery jumped in it from the hot tub. She loved it and I got the biggest smiles from her..to cute! If you didn't already know Avery loves to be tossed in the air.

I love watching these 2 together. They always have so much fun. She loves her daddy.

Daddy came up with an even better way to have fun. He started building a slide on top of the hot tub. We got a garbage bag and off she went down the slide. She loved it and wanted to do it again and again. After she went she would say daddy's turn and down he went.

He decided he needed to spice it up more. So he built the slide even higher..this time starting from the porch. And down they went again and again. She just giggled and giggled and was having the time of her life. Soon her hands started getting cold, so went inside to warm up. Everyday since she wants to go outside on slide. She did go out a few more times with daddy, but now its melting. I am so glad she got to enjoy the snow this year, but now I want SPRING!

Snow day

Align CenterLast Sunday it was like Christmas here at our house. We got so much snow that we couldn't even get out of the driveway. I was so excited that Avery could finally play in the snow for the first time this winter. The other times it snowed like this she was sick with a cold. At first she was a little hesitant about walking in the snow, but as soon as she got a hang of it she loved it!

Eventually she sat down in the snow and made herself comfortable. She loved eating the snow, and especially watching Annie eating it too.

I sat her on top of the hot tub, and she just kept eating the snow YUM! I usually hate the snow, but this time I enjoyed it because Avery had so much fun. I guess spring isn't coming anytime soon, so we will enjoy the snow while we can.
